∙ 15y agoZoos are the safest way to see animals; if not for zoos there would be plenty of people who would never see some of Gcd's fascinating creatures. Nowadays there are also a lot of animals in zoos that are all but extinct; and of not for zoos they would no longer exist.
lol, safest way to see animals, yeah maybe that's what they thought in Victorian times. Its to protect the animals on the endangered and threatened list of animals. A lot of the animals which have be threatened to near extinction is because humans have either poached them or destroyed their environments they live in and so they cannot survive.
Zoo's can be poorly managed though and forget the reason for them being open in the first place and get too focused on the profit side.
