Why should you never attempt to ride a wild horse?

1: They are not domesticated therfore meaning it will etiher kill you or get really really scared and freaked out.

2: Because it is not tamed and it has to get used to people! You could get really hurt and my even die. It is like riding a bull; you could die or get really hurt!

Most likely, every horse that you've ever ridden has been broken in, this means that the horse has been professionally trained to wear a saddle and bridle and carry a large amount of weight on its back. This then means that you can ride the horse safely without getting any major injuries- also the horse will not feel insulted or abused, in any way, about the application of tack. Also meaning the horse will not try and attempt taking the tack off whilst you are riding.

So, if you do come amongst wild horses, however powerful that urge is to jump onto their backs and gallop off into the sunset is, you're gonna have to hold it in. Strictly because if the horse finds a sudden weight on it's untrained spine, its either going to collapse under the stress or cause major injuries. The most common horse riding injuries are broken limbs, mostly caused by dressage trips and stumbles, or slipping, stopping or rearing at the approach of a jump. However, if you were to attempt wild horse riding, you'd get injuries such as crushed or caved-in skulls, broken ribs and pelvises- and not even just bone injuries, you may get crushed so much you might puncture an organ, then you'd be in trouble. With internal bleeding you almost definitely perish from blood loss.

Some idiots believe that if you make friends with a horse, it's going to let you ride it. Sorry but that is not the way it works. You'd have to spend lots of time working with it and training it. If you get on its back too early, the most likely action is going to be a full speed gallop to somewhere dangerous. A lot of bucking will probably be performed and if you haven't fallen off, cracked your skull open and broken a few limbs, you'll probably get chucked off when the animal comes to a sudden stop, crushing yourself under your own weight.

However, if the horse accepts you then he/she is probably a released horse that was once kept as a pet, or it is a very deaf, senseless or blind horse, to weak and aged to deal with you. But most weak horses are dead before they become blind or deaf. Or it might just be a long forgotten, magical pixie horse. (Okay... I made that last bit up! Lol...)
