AnswerYou show respect in order to get respect; meaning that it really does not matter how people treat you, it's how you treat the people that do wrong to you. Basically what goes around comes around and nobody wants to die the life they live. So no matter what happens in life keep a clean slate for your own self respect and you will surely be rewarded for it. I know it's not fair, but nothing in life is, except our choices. ∙ 11y agoThere is no reason to respect other religions. They basically teach people to believe in what does not exist, purely on an assertion. They also teach people to be content with not questioning what has been taught to them and not understanding their world. There is no reason to respect that.
Religion divides people. It makes people see those from other religions as infidels and outcasts or, as many christians see them, as people who need to be saved -- converted to Christianity, that is.
Religion is responsible for more deaths than any other cause in human history.
No one should respect that.
Another Opinion.You should respect other religions because it does not make a person better or worse and it often depends on where you grow up. There are also extremists in EVERY religion. It is completely your choice who you respect, but if you respect people with different skin colors, different relationship statuses, and so on, you should respect people of different religions, too.
