Why television is the worst invention of modern times?

Television is a long way from the worst invention in recent times. The technology for electronic image capture, storage and display has had untold benefits for the world. Modern computing relies on the roots of television technology as do countless other modern technologies.

The benefits we see from the application of television in the modern world is perhaps less clear. It is certainly true that it allows viewers to see current events as they are happening and allows information, education and entertainment to be shared widely. Most of us will think of these as great benefits. However, the low budget poorly produced content we see on many of the minor channels is rather different.

Many of us consider it a mindless entertainment for children and adults of all ages. Television may be useful at sometimes but mostly people just watch silly T.V. shows to be entertained. It may also influence us as young people and it influences us not in the best ways as possible.
