Reason:
This usually happens when you or a program tries to edit the FileFoder or Drive entries to add more context menu items .

Solution:

This can be resolved in two ways.

Method 1: Reregistering the shell extenstions

a. Go to Start > Run & Copy paste the following code.

Code:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

b. Press OK & you should see a message like this.

DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shell32.dll succeeded.

Method 2: Editing the registry

a. Go to Start > Run . Type in regedit and Click ok.

b. Navigate to

c. In the right-pane, locate and double click the Default value.

d. Type in none and press ok.

e. Navigate to the following location also:
