It’s because A lot of ships,people,planes, and boats sink or Crash or get lost there. The Bermuda Triangle is an intersecting point between 3 countries (Main one Being Bermuda 🇧🇲) That intersecting point is a force of water because there is a ravine under it and it pulls things to south, east, north, and west ans sink them underwater.
