Why universal ink will not work in your xerox copyer?

[Edit]

Answer

These copiers do not use ink, they use toner (powder).
Toner can be negatively or positively charged. Also they vary in melting point, particle size, etc.
So there cannot be a "universal" toner. It is possible that a toner designed for another model will work adequately in another model. But, it would be difficult to learn if this is the case.
