Why is John F. Kennedy a good role model?

JFK is regarded as a great president despite the fact that he only served two years, ten months and two days in office. The reasons for this are because:

-Americans regard him as a matyr for civil rights and equal justice

-He was an eloquent speaker

-He was charming, young and exuded confidence

-He inspired Americans to take up public service through the peace corps

-He narrowly avoided a nuclear disaster with the Cuban missile crisis

-He launched the space initiative which was achieved after his death

Popularity and performance are very different things, and most historians would argue that it is too soon to have a good historical perspective through which to analyze Kennedy's performance as President.

He was a good president because he was a strong leader and a proud American. He was a WW2 war hero and served his country well before he was elected. Also, he was for civil rights and did everything he could for the people before the tragedy in '63'. If he served all 8 years in office he would be a legend. Plus, it washim who started the plan to land a man on the moon which we did accomplished in 1969. Lastly, he made one of the most important statements in his inaugural address;

I'm not sure you could say he was. JFK, by general consensus was a good president, or more precisely, was evolving as one. But he never had even one full term of office, so it is not known how his full term or terms of office would have panned out in the light of history.

Quite the opposite JFK was a horrible role model, who had no mrals no ethics and used many, many women sexually. He used people for his own selfish disgusting motives. His job as a good president was a myth. He was prepared to risk his political career and, at the height of the cold war, his country's security in return for sex. It's about time the country sees him and his family for what they really were...."trailer park trash" born with silver spoons in their mouths. who thought because of their name they could get away with anything.
