Why was James Madison important in the American revolutionary war?

He worked in Congress and in the constitutional convention he took all the notes as well as help write the Bill of Rights as well as the Federalist papers. He became president. When he died he was the last remaining person who was at the constitutional convention. No longer could anyone ask the men who wrote that document what they meant .

He wrote the American Constitution. In the actual revolution though, he played no part.

He was important because he made the Articles of Confederation, making another impact on the U.S. Government. Without him, today's U.S. government would most likely be very weak.
