Anne Frank may have been scared and afraid. Anne frank knew the bad stuff going on around her. She was indeed terrified I would say but a strong one. She had to keep on being good because that was the only way to survive. She did keep a strong enough postive additude to survive but not to joyful like the world was like her life when she was born. So, i think thats why.
