Its not!! the last time it got invaded was 1066
Unless you count 1688 when the Dutch did it (with English blessing - just don't tell the Scots or Irish)

Also I just noticed this is filed under Rome.
In that case - The southern Britons were already pretty heavily Romanised so didn't care that much and like a lot of territories they were simply outclassed by the Roman Legions, also they never got their act together and combined so the Romans could pretty much just take on piecemeal any forces prepared to fight them.
That said it got harder the further north and West the Romans went, they never really got a firm grip much further north than the Scottish Central Belt and even that slipped down into what is now northern England after a while. Mean while the Welsh (technically the Britons) clobbered them a few times until the Romans killed off most of the druids and generally did a spot of "pacifying". The whole country did still rise in rebellion a few times too.
The Romans could not be defeated because of their such large population. Whenever a roman legion was defeated, another legion would take their place. The romans were a strong and healthy battle to be against. It was a clear call when they won.
The started with Macedonia which had little support from the Greek city-states, then accepted invitations by some city-states to help them against others - 'divide and rule'.
Because the were not
becoz it was.
Because the Romans had better tactics, better army, better equipment than the Celts(British). This means they won lots of battles.
No, it didn't. The Romans were already there and initially fended off the Anglo-Saxons. In the fifth century, the Romans left Britain, so the next time the Anglo-Saxons attempted to invade Britain, they succeeded.
They planned to invade Britain in 1940 with Operation Sealion. To facilitate this invasion, they first had to neutralise the RAF (Royal Air Force). They were unable to do this, so their planned invasion was postponed indefinitely and they invaded Russia instead.
Rome had been actively trading with the Britons since the time of Julius Cesar. Recently coins have been found dated from 50 years before the famous 43 AD "invasion" which proves that at least part of Britain was familiar to the Romans. Rome also had a treaty with the southern tribes of Britain and sent troops initially to help one of their allies. Britain also had tin and silver resources in addition to timber that Rome eyed. However the most pressing reason for Rome to invade Britain was to boost the image of Claudius. Remember Rome was a militaristic society. Their leader had to have had military experience of some type in order to be credible. Claudius had none. The easy takeover of Britain was ideal to prove to the home folks that their present Caesar was capable of invading a territory and annexing it as a province.
The Vikings invaded Britain so that they can plunder the valuable property in British settlements and occupy the land. The Vikings were subdued in battle because they had under-estimated the opposing armies.
The Romans attempted to invade Britain many times, however it started off as just political alliances and influences. However, the Britons were seen as barbaric and uncivilized so the Romans invaded and "romanized" Britain. There was a revolt and the rebel armies in Britain successfully overthrew the Romans.
700/600 BC The Celts invade. 43BC Emperor Claduis invades (Romans) 450 The Anglo-Saxons invade 410 The Romans leave 793 The Vikings invade. 1066 The Normans invade 1688 By the Dutch So Britain has been invaded 6 times.
No. Ephesus surroundered to Romans. So there was an invasion but not like a war.
Because the Romans had better tactics, better army, better equipment than the Celts(British). This means they won lots of battles.
So our soldiers don't get bored

Architecture to a degree. By the times the Romans came to Britain they were just about on the out, so not as much remained as it could have.
The Romans were not particularly violent towards Britain. They did fight insurrections in Britain just as they did in their other provinces, but overall, they were no more harsher in Britain than in any other province.
They planned to invade Britain in 1940 with Operation Sealion. To facilitate this invasion, they first had to neutralise the RAF (Royal Air Force). They were unable to do this, so their planned invasion was postponed indefinitely and they invaded Russia instead.
The Romans left roads because they wanted the roads so that they can get to other places of Britain easier and quicker.
the south had alot of loyalists there so it was an easy target for them.
The first country was Poland. On 1 September 1939, German forces invaded Poland so on 3 September 1939, Britain and France declared war on Germany.
