Why wasn't Andrew Divoff in Wishmaster 3 and 4?In: Movies

I've read 3 different explanations on different sites and have no idea which one, if any, is the right one.

> he left because he didn't want to end up typecast (this reason just seems unlikely)

This is a very good question because Wishmaster is simply NOT the same without him. I didn't bother to watch 3 or 4 because he wasn't in them.
