With so little information it can be only a guess but.

Look at any fuse that runs on the main line to the heater, any in a plug (UK plus for instance also have 13 amp fuses on board) - Have an electrician check the heating element - these fracture over time and the fires will not work - it might be that it meeds a new element, check there is no cable damage to the fire - Do not try repairs yourself as electric fires can kill

well, since its electric it might have had a fuse because mey be the remote cell have got a weak power in the battery try new cells
