The problem lies in the starter solenoid/relay system and sounds like the relay is faulty or a wire is disconnected. Follow the positive cable (usually red) from the battery - the other end should be connected to the solenoid/starter.

Check fuses as the battery change should not initiate a "No Start" condition.
When this problem came up with my dodge stratus my husband found that a fuse was blown. We changed our battery and it would not start for us either. but as soon as he fixed some wiring and changed the fuse it was fine.
Try getting a boost.....that'll help

Have the battery checked and if it is the OEM battery just replace it as it is 7 years old. Inspect the battery cables and clean the connections at the battery posts. Make sure nothing is on, as in a truck light, glove box light, etc. Check the alternator to see if it is performing properly. It should read 13.5-16 volts at the battery with the engine running.

Engine ground can find many paths to the battery, but if NOTHING is connected to the negative post... no, it won't start.
what kind of "not start" ? Won't turn over? Nothing? What are the symptoms?
check for loose connections
