what do you mean "navigate to "about:config"?what do you mean "filter pane?" this explanation is very confused. Answer

Some Firefox installations behave as described in the question. To obtain this behaviour, navigate to "about:config". In the "Filter" pane type "keyword". Double click "keyword.URL" and change the value to http://www.Google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=

Other users report that Firefox usually returns anything typed in the address bar as a Google search result or taking you to the webpage. Perhaps you misspelled the word. You might also want to compare the versions of Firefox you have. Other than that, there is no reason why your laptop can't do that.

You can also add a keyword to your bookmarks: Rightclick a bookmark choose edit (or something like that, I'm not using an English firefox) and set a keyword. When you now type this keyword in your adressbar and hit enter, FF will send you directly to that page.

You can hold the Ctrl key when you press enter and FireFox will add www. to the front and .com/org/ca to the end. Also holding Alt will open in a new tab.

Is Firefox the best internet browser?

This is simply a matter of opinion. Many argue that Firefox is the best browser because it is highly customisable with loads of add-ons available for free. However, others prefer Internet Explorer because it is simple to use, many computers have access to it and it has frequent updates. Google Chrome is another popular browser because it is quick and has a good dual-funtionality of its URL address bar (it can take the user to webpages but can also direct them to the Google search engine). Mozilla Seamonkey is also popular.

The table alignment in HTML file if you align in according to ie browser that alignment not supported in Firefox or safari browser?

That's because IE renders things differently (wrong) than standards-compliant browsers like Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, or Konqueror. You need to either: A.) Use code that both IE and the others know how to render. B.) Make a separate version of the page for IE. C.) Make the page for IE only and ignore the others (sadly this happens way too often).
