If you bought just the Kinect alone w/out the Xbox, then just plug it in using the usb cable that came with it. If you bought a Kinect and Xbox bundle, you cant connect it to your PC because it doesnt come with the extra usb cable(you can get one at the Microsoft store website).
Kinect has three cameras to map your body movements plus voice recognition software to get to know your voice.
Maybe you need to move it closer to you.....if that doesn't work try the Kinect Tuner (in the Xbox Guide)
Well, yes. There are two kinect systems, one is a Kinect PC and the other is a Kinect 360. If you want to use your kinect with your xbox get the 360 one. If you have games and mods on your pc you can get the kinect pc but it is considerably more than the kinect 360.
no
no
no you can hook it to a pc
I had this problem... On the account you are signed into you need to connect it to Xbox Live in order to get an update that will add "Kinect ID" to you options in your Kinect options
No, but it does come with a wireless adapter to connect to the Kinect though.
You plug your connect in to your Xbox 360 and then play the certified Xbox Kinect games.
Kinect is just a sensor, it must be connected to an Xbox 360 console to function.
If you connect it right then yes, it will work (and on any xbox).
Through cross lan cabel we connect pc to pc.
Firstly, its called just the Kinect, not Xbox 360 Kinect. The reason being is that the Kinect is a open source hardware which can be used by other companies. The kinect will connect to all Xbox 360's. With the older models, you will need to attach the power supply (included). The Xbox 360 S does not need this power supply.
Nope. It wouldn't be good anyway.
