Why won't my Nikon S3000 camera charge up?
Yes, it will fit.. However, you will still need to see if the lens you have has or does not have features like autofocus or CPU connectors that will carry all the info that your camera needs.... If it is a Nikon Lens it will work fine. So will others like Sigma, Tamron and Tokina.. Carl Zeiss may… not give you all the functions but will work in manual mode. (MORE)
Yeas really, in my opinion nikon has best dslr digital cameras i, for example own the newest nikon d60 and I'm very glad with it
Make sure that it is not on the no flash mode (the circle with a crossed out flash)
The short answer is: "Depends". The long answer is: Both Canon and Nikon make cameras and lenses that are so good and so reliable that it is impossible to make a statement of which manufacturer makes better cameras (or lenses).. If you are looking for a "point and shoot" camera, compare cost, feat…ures, and look "on line" for reviews of the specific models you are comparing. Some reviewers include comparisons of actual pictures taken with the camera for the review.. If you are looking for a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera, in addition to the recommendation noted above, also decide which lens or lenses you will be using. If you need a lens that one manufacturer makes, but the other manufacturer doesn't make, then that answers the question.. It also makes a difference in what kind of photography you will be doing. Each manufacturer has a variety of cameras, at various prices, that fill a variety of niches. Make sure the camera you buy will do the job you need it for, regardless of whether it is a Canon or a Nikon.. panasonic lumix are hot now a days (MORE)
No. Professionals use DSLRs. Even at that, many DSLRs are still just consumer level cameras. D200/D300/D700/D3 are professional Nikons.
All of the major manufacturers make good cameras. You should shop on the basis of features and price. I would be leery of touch-screen cameras, however. They have not been on the market long, and there may be bugs in manufacturing and software. They also tend to be fragile. The one I tried out ha…d a disconcerting habit of doing things without my permission, but I'm sure that was my inexperience. My philosophy is, if it works, don't fix it. Touch screens are all the rage these days, but that does not make them the best answer when it comes to camera controls. (MORE)
ED has nothing to do with the camera mount; it is a lens (glass) quality so yes, it will fit
Nikon consumer cameras have proprietary batteries that are normally charged in the camera. Your camera manual should explain this. Some of the newest charge via a USB connection to a computer.
It depends on the model. Coolpics cameras range in price from about $70 to $500.
Yes, but they won't act the same on a D40 as more expensive Nikons. Only AF, AF-D, AF-S, and G lenses will meter on a D40 and ony AF-S and G lenses will auto focus on a D40.
It used to be that Nikons were all made in Japan, nowadays many are made in China.
A Nikon F-Mount Lens will indeed fit a Nikon D80 Digital SLR Camera, as the D80 is equipped with a mechanical focus drive motor which will effectively autofocus with all F-Mount lenses. - Raspix.com
In my view, the nikon d40 is not really good one. The most obvious shortcoming of the Nikon D40 camera, is the absence of an autofocus driver in the camera body. What this means, is that if autofocus is important to the way you take pictures, they you are somewhat limited in the number of lenses you… can use with the D40. Only about ten percent of the available lenses for the Nikon D40 have autofocus drives built into the lenses. Needless to say, those lenses are considerably more expensive than lenses without autofocus. In addition, most SLR's in this price range, allow you to take pictures in the RAW format, and the D40 is no exception. What is a bit surprising, is that when you take pictures with the RAW and JPEG format at the same time, the D40 only uses a very basic JPEG format. For a camera in this price range I would have expected better. You can have a see. http://www.dinodirect.com/ (MORE)
Yes, the sb600 works with all Nikon SLRs - although with some limitations on older ones.
1.well, sometimes its the bottom of your ipod. the bottom of your ipod , where you plug the USB cord should have all of the little bars up. If it doesnt, then that might be your problem. 2. If your ipod is fine then maybe try charging it on a dock or on a USB wall charger. Just try to charge it… in different places (MORE)
The Nikon D5000 is rated as an excellent camera by the major photography magazines online. It is considered an entry-level to enthusiast level DSLR. Costco has a package deal for the camera body, two VR zoom lenses and a camera bag for 824.99. BHAudioVideo has a very good deal on the body only or wi…th one zoom. A comparable camera, nikon d3000 with a two lens kit is 599.99 at best buy, at least here in our local store. I am wavering between these two but will likely own one of them in a few days. Good luck. oh and they kick a$$ botth of them i sware yo (MORE)

This is made by Nikon. This camera model was often criticized forits relatively short battery life.
Yes but older AF lenses that do not have an autofocus motor in them will not autofocus with the D5000.
Hello! my best advice is to visit a local camera repair man, or your local radio shack. -Charles
If the camera shows signs of use or is well-used but mechanically OK, look on the website of Ffordes of InvernessUK. If the camera is pretty well unused condition, look at Grays of Westminster. Also look at MW Classic Cameras, also in London, .
no it can't cannon has a competetion with nikon they want you to buy only their products
It depends on the quality, store, and how new it is. If you were to purchase a Nikon camera in Best Buy, most likely it will be expensive... unless they hare having some special offer and/or sale. I got my Nikon D90 for about $1200 in 2009. Now it's been reduced to 100 bucks. So literally, they'r…e expensive, unless you've got the job or money. Plus, Nikon is an Asian brand. They're craazy (and I admit, 'cause I am Asian). (MORE)

The quality of a Nikon depends on the models, but typically in the models from the past couple years the image stabilizers inside the lower end models are fairly cheap. This means that most of the photos will come out hazy and blurry. However, most Nikon D-SLRs have fantastic image stabilizers and t…ake fantastic pictures. (MORE)
Yes, if your camera has the detachable lens option (lens' are able to be removed from the base of the camera). All brands that are the same as your camera will fit.
Short answer is no ... most flash units are camera specific, meaning that they will only work with the camera they were designed for. . Longer answer is yes ... if you want to 100% sure none of the smaller pins short out any of the contacts on the camera then just use pc sync socket or hotshoe to p…c sync on the camera or some people just use tape. A double hotshoe adaptor that only has a center pin contact will also work. The main point is to ensure only the center pin of flash and camera is used. The flash will not be able to be used in TTL mode, but many Nikon flashes have a non TTL auto and a manual mode (dependent on model) that can be used. With old canon cameras the sync voltage needs to be below 6v, most Nikon flashes are below this but it's worthwhile checking.. (MORE)
You have to have a very steady hand for the pictures to come out well. Otherwise, yes it is a nice camera
It really depends on what you expect out of your camera and what kind of photography you will be performng. Many choose a cannon over a nikon because they are easier to handle and have more features, most professionals choose cannon cameras.

I'm pretty sure its Japan but China probably make them too because they make nearly everything! :)
if you have e charger . . . . it easy to charge it . . especially if it has a manual.
You need the original adapter that came with your iPad. Connecting a USB cable to a PC or using an iPhone or iPod charger won't work since it doesn't have enough power to charge the iPad's huge battery.
My personal opinion is the D40, although it has less pixels it produces less image noise than the D3000 i.e. you could be using the D40 at twice the iso of the D3000 for the same amount of image noise. There are a number of differences that could be a deal breaker to some. The D3000 has better autof…ocus. The D40 has higher flash sync 1/500 using ITTL and 1/4000 when not. (MORE)

If the lens was made later than 1959 it will have the "F" mount and it should fit any modern Nikon DSLR, although the auto-focus may not work and you will have to focus manually.
