Why won't my car start I have lights outside the car but not on the dash. this problem started after I gave the car a tune up. could the tune up affected the problem I have an 89 dodge.?

Sometimes strange things happen to vehicles for no apparent reason. We shall call it circumstance.
Try this, disconnect both battery cables and clean the post and terminal ends of the cable. A battery brush works easiest and best. Place a little grease around all the areas. Reconnect the cables. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
There us a corruption that forms between the battery post and cable ends that cause current to not flow through. Hopefully this is your only problem.

Why do the lights flash on my 95 Honda Accord when i replaced the battery outside lights as well as all the dash lights?
I dont have an answer but I am having the same problem. My car wouldn't start but when I turned the key, the lights (hazard and dash lights) started blinking. I think it's a warning that the battery is not completely connected. We tightened the clamps (which were very loose) and it stopped.

I had a 1986 cj that had the same problem. Couldn't find the problem until the dimmer switch on the floorboard went out. Replaced the switch and the gauge lights started to work.

There must be a short in your wiring...Especially if you have trailer wires...I have the same problem on my Silverado....Haven't fixed it yet but narrowing down the possibilties...Good Luck
