You have to take off the glove compartment, and some other paneling to get to a little motor with a whole bunch of gears right behind your center console. Just put grease (or Vaseline) on all of those gears, and you should be good to go!
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core airbound, plugged, or restricted? Water pump not circulating coolant? Temperature control not working?
have you checked the fuses? if so, maybe the heater core needs replacing
you could have an air pocket in your core. the speakers check fuse.
It could be a few different problems: the first being that you have an air bubble, the second being that the system needs to be flushed or third that your heater core is bad. To test this start the car and turn the heater off. Then run the car until it is at normal running temperature. Once you have done this turn on the defroster on high if the temperature is hot at first and then cool then you need to do one of the above fixes. Start with the easy one and move to the more difficult/expensive one. Good luck.
A Chrysler PT cruiser.
Cut wires under the dash or hood or missing fuses and relays?
If it is leaking inside the car, the heater core has failed. If it is leaking inside the car, the heater core has failed.
because their piece of junk!
Inside of the car. Remove the glove box.
You could have a problem with your thermostat in the car.
manualy unlock the passenger door with your door key, while the alarm is going off.it may take a few trys but it will work. the car wont start after alarm going off, do i need a new battery or can i just turn off the alarm and the car is a 1994 Chrysler lhs
It wont start
The battery runs a fan that pushes air through the residual engine heat in the heater radiator into the car.
the heater of your car does not only work when the car is in motion. it only works when the engine is started. you don't have a heater in your car like you do your home. the heat that you feel when you turn on your heater in your car is produced by the engine. and there for if your car is not on then you will not receive any heat. some cars take longer than others to "heat up".
inside of the dash, about middle of the car. The entire dash has to be removed to replace.
Yes, if your low on antifreeze, there may not be enough to fill the heater core, and you wont get any heat. If your heat is not blowing that should be the first thing you check.
Not very well.
get a new one
