The arsoson why it won't work is that when you got your phone it amyt have already been unlocked but howeer 3 sims are special, special in sense that the phone has to originally on 3 or you can get an adapter to make the sim work. I know this is stupid but what could you do, its life. hope this helps. i posted this cause i was bored. laterz
If the net 10 phone is "unlocked" and the sim card fits. Usually the phone needs to be unlocked network wise not pin wise.
Samsung Tracfones can be unlocked by purchasing a SIM card. Each SIM card comes with a PUK code which will unlock the phone for use.
Provided the new handset is unlocked... yes you can.
PUK codes are specific to your SIM card, not your phone. You need to go to contact your phone company to get your phone unlocked.
An unlocked phone can accept the SIM card from any cell phone provider. If you have an ATT SIM card, you can use it in an unlocked phone. A locked phone is created by the provider to force the use of its service; an unlocked phone can take any SIM card.
If the phone is unlocked you should be able to put any type of sim card in there as long as it is a GSM phone with a sim card slot.
an unlocked phone could mean one of two things. One, the phone belongs to a GSM carrier (like T-mobile, or AT&T) but being that it is unlocked you can use it with any carrier that requires a sim card. The second can mean that it is a CDMA phone with GSM capabilities normally on a Sprint or Verizon Global phone meaning it is a CDMA phone with a sim card slot and as long as it is unlocked it can be used also with any other carrier that requires a sim card. However it has nothing to do with what is on the actual phone, so even if it says T-mobile it can still be an unlocked phone.
You can put any SIM card in an unlocked cell phone.
Yes - if the phone is either already locked to the Orange network - OR - it's been unlocked to all networks.
Have you allready tried another network's sim card in the phone because I bought mine on Vodafone from Phones4U and it was already "Unlocked"
There should be no problem if you use a SIM card in an unlocked phone. If the phone is locked make sure the network is available to you.
ALL mobile phones have a SIM card - unless they're sold 'unlocked' in which case they're SIM free. If Boost is selling the Samsung seek - it will have their SIM card in it unless they're selling it unlocked (highly unlikely !)
