because your charging system is bad, change the stator and the regulator 98-99 750's have a charging issue. Even with replacing the above parts they still will die in heavy traffic. This bike was made to run over 4500 RPM. if you are keeping it below that for lenthy periods of time it's going to kill the battery. This is just a known issue. It's a race bike and made to move not sit still. They don't do well at bike week in traffic which is where this problem comes up alot. If you are running above 4500 rpm and it's dying then yes replace the above parts and possably the wiring harness as well. If the bike it sitting not being cranked this is also horrible on the battery.
