A solenoid is a component that controls a great many different things on a car.
If you have one inside the transmission leaking, this one is supposed to seal or release a system in side the transmission and the seal portion can go bad.
If we are talking about the starter solenoid, it has no oil to leak. If it looks like it is then we have 1 of two problems.
An oil leak is always going to be out of the engine as the engine contains oil and the car does not. I think you are saying you are loosing oil with no apparent leak. If that is the case the engine is burning oil and that is why you see no leaks.
Depends on where the leak. the intake or the heads yes pan, timming, ect. no.
in some cases yes you will have an oil leak
I would not expect a valve cover leak to cause a car to stall. A valve cover leak can fill the spark plug area with oil which can cause rough running.
It depends on where the leak is and what is causing the leak.
Because you have an oil leak.
Not being curt but you have an oil leak. Can be any number of places the leak is coming from. If you crawl under the car with w flashlight you will more than likely see where it is coming from.
You have a leak and a large one. If you or a cheap store just changed oil, then they may not have attached the Oil Filter or the Oil Pan Plug correctly. If you leave off an O-ring or don't lube the gasket on the oil filter, then it could leak. Generally this will not leak very fast. The oil pan plug is at the bottom of the oil system and it would leak out all of the oil. Check your radiator water. Sometimes an engline will leak oil into the coolant system and it will be carried to your radiator. This will turn the water a chocolate milk color.
1) A hole or crack in the engine block 2) leak in any oil passageways or hoses. 3) Missing oil pan plug. It would be best to get underneath your car and look for oil leaks. If ALL your oil is gone then you should have no problem identifying the leak. Pour a little oil in the engine oil filler hole and see where it leaks back out. DO Not drive without oil!!!! you'll ruin your engine.
Leaking valve cover gaskets would leak onto the exhaust pipes under the hood of the car.
It will continue to leak oil and if you do not add oil regularly it will eventually cause engine damage.
No.
