Why does hamsters reproductive private parts grow big?

When your hamster is warm its testicles will look bigger than usual. I usually find that when mine first wakes up his are HUGE and drag on the floor as he walks along, especially when the weather has been warmer. cos your a dirty bastard

When you touch the scrotum or inner thigh of a mammal, there is a reaction called the cremasteric reflex. The cremasteric muscle surrounds the testicles and contracts when this area is touched. This is the same muscle that pulls the testicles into the pelic cavity when you jump into cold water or become frightened. Since the hamsters testicles are tiny to begin with, when they retract into his pelvis you cannot feel them.

Well, the answers should be pretty obvious, if there's a male and female you could have a pregnancy, it could just be a fat hamster, or possibly irritation from something it ate, if you are being a good owner, you should be able to easily figure out what it is.

well i just found out i bought a boy and a girl robo dwarf hamster so one is pregnant and the males testicles were very large to carry the sperm or whatever and now they are very very small

because they are all ways mating in the wild and can hump up to 12 hamsters at a time that is true because in the wild there are mutch more females then males
