Jesus Christ taught men to pray for this very thing in the Lord's Prayer when they ask God:

"Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth."-Matthew 6:10. See also 1 Corinthians 15:25.

A SATISFYING PURPOSE

With all obstacles to peace and happiness removed, God promises that . . .

"The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."-Psalm 37:10, 11, 29.

Living forever, humans will then be able to realize their full potential . . .

Endless opportunities to learn and be creative will open up before mankind.

Peaceful and satisfying relationships with all our fellow humans will prevail earth wide.... quoted from the book "Life Does Have a Purpose."

Just my opinion, i would rather go when it is my time, to be somewhere better, but I guess you wouldn't understand if you don't believe in God.

It would be alful because you would have to watch your loved ones die one by one. It would be better to die and meet your loved ones again one day.

Living forever could lead to a sense of loneliness and isolation as you outlive loved ones and witness the passing of time. It may also bring a sense of weariness from accumulating experiences and memories over an endless lifespan. Additionally, the burden of immortality could potentially lead to mental and emotional challenges as you navigate an existence without an endpoint.

If everyone lived forever, eventually, there would be no more room on Earth for new babies and no new people would get a chance to experience life. And the Earth would run out of food so we would die anyway unless we were immortal.

Many people have written on the concept of immortality, but since there are no recorded cases of immortality yet, all we have are various guesses. However, immortality comes in many flavors and each one merits a different discussion.

1) Traditional Youthful Earth-Based Immortality: This is the "Jack Harkness" kind of immortality, where a person simply stops aging once they reach maturity and is simply impervious to harm. Effectively, this person is 35 years old forever. Some argue that such a person would experience severe weltschmierz (or world-weariness), wanting desperately to die in order to be done with the difficulty of enduring while the people you know and places you love vanish. Others argue that such a person will put themselves to use fulfilling a duty that would take many lifetimes to complete, but that since this person is immortal, they can achieve it. This latter group tends to be excited with their lives, even though they are unending.

2) Youthful Earth-Based Immortality with a Bad Source: This is a type of immortality typically found in both the vampire scenario or the Holy Grail scenario. In this case, the person has immortality that freezes aging at a certain point and the person does not age or die. However, they are tied to performing some kind of unseemly act or their freedoms are severely curtailed. (In the case of the vampire, this person must drink human blood for nourishment and the in the case of the Holy Grail, the person must remain in close proximity to the grail to drink its liquid's healing powers. This immortality is generally viewed more negatively, especially in the case of vampire immorality. However, there are lighter-hearted versions of this, such as in the Twilight Series, where the vampires try to tow the moral line.

3) Immortal, but Non-Human: This is a type of immortality where the bearer becomes immortal but does so in a chemical process that destroys parts of his human nature to the point where he can no longer effectively relate to other humans. His personality is fundamentally altered and there is a serious question often posed about whether it would have been better if he simply died and was not transformed. The most common form of this is "zombification", but there are other similar problems.

4) Aging Immortality: This is simply the idea that a person does not die from old age, so the person keeps on becoming more and more decrepit as the years go by. This type of immortality is never looked upon positively.

5) Transhumanism: This is the idea that humans survive indefinitely by linking up to computers and simply downloading their consciousnesses onto those computers. As a result, the mind is preserved, even if the body decays. The sensations felt in this kind of immortality are not often discussed.

6) Religious Immortality:
This is the concept that certain religions exist, namely that after death, the immortal soul joins the given divinity into the afterlife. Depending on how decent the divinity is portrayed, the afterlife can be a perfect or horrible place (and anything in between).

Would be more difficult for a child or more difficult for an older person to handle living in a place like Terezin why?

It would likely be more difficult for a child to handle living in a place like Terezin due to their vulnerability and lack of coping mechanisms compared to an older person. Children may struggle to understand the harsh conditions and emotional challenges, leading to more detrimental effects on their mental and emotional well-being. Older individuals may have more life experience and resilience to better handle the difficult circumstances.

What technology would be required to make a synaptic map of a living human's brain?

To create a synaptic map of a living human's brain, advanced imaging technologies such as electron microscopy combined with artificial intelligence algorithms would be necessary. These technologies would enable the high-resolution imaging and mapping of synaptic connections in real-time in a non-invasive manner.
