Most marine biologists will tell you that we have truly just begun to discover the deep, dark areas of the ocean, and they are already revealing countless new and fascinating things, some of which change the basic rules of "life on earth" as we have always known it. It is thought there is a good possibility that new disease treatments may be unlocked by discovering and understanding new things from the ocean deeps.
