∙ 13y agoThey don't know much about the assassination, but they know they don't like the Mafia, so the Mafia must have done it. In actual fact, of course, Oswald is not known to have had any connection with them at all.

Also Kennedy's Brother Robert was extremely motivated to stop organized crime. Finally, the CIA also wanted Castro out of Cuba so the enlisted help from the mob. Mob leader Giancana was told by the CIA if he helped in the assassination of Castro they would allow him to control criminal elements. Kennedy denied this plan causing Giancana to lose a lot of money in his ambitions to assassinate Castro.
