Why would the car heater only blow heat from the dashboard? |
[Edit] |
Answer
You're getting heat and it is blowing, so you have "volume". Now that it is pushed to you, it is having a problem being directed. A "flap" or "damper" is not moving to redirect it. Sometimes they are electrical in nature or vacuum(older ones are usually cable directed). A bad switch or jammed flap are reasonable possibilities. By grabbing the hoses and feeling for hot/cold lines it is confirming circulation. The fact that you have heat already tells you that.
