There are a few answers. One, is that you felt sleepy one day, and now, revisiting the same environment, your behavior is repeated. Two, something in the classroom cues you to feel sleepy: the classroom may be too warm, or there might not be enough stimulation in the teaching method (in that case, you write copious notes to stay awake). Third, if you do not keep regular hours of sleeping, you may simply be sleep deprived. A teenager needs 9 to 10 hours of sleep a night. If you are staying up into to the wee hours during the week and then trying to catch up on weekends by sleeping all day, then you may be suffering from jetlag-type effects. Or it may be just because the subject is not in your interest thus making you fell sleepy because there arent any interesting stuff to do.

You will miss important and even vital parts of the subject matter being taught.

Asking such a question indicates you probably have already done so.
