6 Weeks Gestation actually counts from fertilization. However many weeks pregnant you are is actually counted from the first day of your last period. So, when you are 20 weeks pregnant you are actually only 18 weeks gestation.

You may of had your days wrong and you really is 6 weeks or they may be measuring your baby head incorrectly
