Why would your wife run away for a day to sleep with a female co-worker following an argument?

Only your wife can answer this one. It could be that she is simply trying to hurt you. Perhaps she is a closeted lesbian and this is a reason to "come out". Perhaps she just needed some time away from you to clear her mind and it seemed judicious to include her romp (or appearance of one) in her plans.

man i would hate to be in that situation.not only would you be humiliated by her cheating, but probably get a name for yourself for turning your wife gay.thats just from past experiences with a few gay friends,but i think it was just bad timing.

It's an excuse. Women who want to cheat have to have "a reason." So, they create one. They start an arguement with you, so later they can say it was "your fault" that they cheated and they're off the hook. Then you'll take them back when the affair is over, (or if she gets caught.) Yeah, right. They think we're stupid. They can't see how lame this is. They also can't see that they are just slutty--because they're covering it up with an "excuse"--YOU. Dump her and don't look back.

Are you sure she 'ran away' to sleep with her co-worker? My BF once thought the same thing in my case(that I was Bi-sexual, like that would ever happend!) but it was not the case. I was going to her house to meet up with her Brother. I led him on to believe that I was seeing her because I felt the reprocutions wouldnt be as bad as me sleeping with another man. Everytime we got into an argument(I started picking fights more often just to see the other man)I would use it as an excuse to leave and go to my bosses house. Only once there I would turn around and have her call her brother to come pick me up. Then the very next moring he would drop me back off at her house, and I would drive home.
