During the time that you sleep, it is said that your brain sorts out information it has collected during the day. Some scientists say that while you sleep your brains sorts through the events during the day and tries to make sense of it. There are a few stages during your sleep and one part is called the REM period which stands for Rapid Eye Movement. During the time is when you dream. After the stages, it repeats again. So if you wake up during or right after REM you are more likely to remember your dreams.

My doctor has told me that tweens need 9 hours of sleep a night! A Sleep Doctor should tell you to sleep 10 hours of sleep not 9 hours. Now Adult can sleep up to 6 hours, there bodys don't need that much sleep:)
