Teens program

Wiki Influential Teens (WIT) exists to build the feeling of community among Answers.com's teen contributors by providing a safe online locale for teens to hang out and ask and answer questions.

WIT will empower teens to assist Answers.com's Q&A community through special projects, as well as embrace their leadership abilities by helping younger contributors learn how to correctly use the site and its features. While doing so, teens will learn cooperation, understanding, and leadership skills.

About WIT
WIT Missions

You never know where WIT members will be from day to day! Some WIT members might be in Animal Life answering questions, and some may be in Science moving questions to their correct categories! WIT missions are assigned on an individual basis, so no matter what your interests may be, WIT is fun, interesting, and best of all, it's something you can work on whenever you have time!

A WIT mission is given to a member when they join the program, and they have 30 days to complete their first mission. It may take one person two days, and it may take another person two weeks. That's okay! You set your own schedule of how fast you want to work. After you complete your first WIT mission, you then have a maximum of 60 days to complete each subsequent mission.

WIT Divisions

WIT is divided into four divisions, each focusing on a different aspect of Answers.com's Q&A community. Divisions are fun, and allow you to choose which tasks you enjoy most!

WIT Explorers

This division is for those members who would like to participate in all facets of the site rather than focus on one particular aspect. Missions may include answering questions, recategorizing, featuring, and working on flagged questions to name a few.

WIT Warriors

This WIT Division will consist of members who wish to focus on new categories or unsupervised categories. Tasks will include seeding new questions, recategorizing questions, cleaning up unsupervised categories, and jumping in to assist with categories that need extra help.

WIT Trailblazers

The members in this division will focus specifically on answering questions. Their focus could be on newer categories, current event categories, specific categories of interest and featured categories.

WIT Roadrunners

WIT Roadrunners will focus on any special projects that are assigned to the division. Project ideas may be cleaning up alternates and merges of various questions, helping Supervisors clean up problem areas in their categories as necessary, removing links and personal information from answers, and various category clean-up, to name a few.
