There's nothing wrong with that, the contacts are designed to line up no matter if it's mono, stereo, or stereo with a mic (or mono with a mic!).
You won't damage it, but you will only get sound in one ear.
plug the headset in to the headphone jack. if it's a laptop, the headphone jack should be on the front , or at the side . if it's a desktop, it should be either on the front, or the back of the tower.Hope this helps...
Look on your pcs headphone jack (the green one). It should be a headset with mic
Most PCs do not have support for a mini-jack headset. This is because most PCs have a single jack for a microphone and a single jack for headphones. A mini-jack will not fit without an adapter. Plugging a headset into either ports will cause you to either lose the headphone function or the microphone function.
If the television has audio out jacks you can use a wireless headset, or you can connect the audio out to an amplifier that has a headphone jack. You will not be able to plug into you TV but if you have a VCR attached plug your headset into it. There is also a device that transmits the audio signal to a wireless headset.
to elaborate on the question, I want to get a monitor that has a microphone jack and a headphone jack so that I don't need to use the single headphone jack on my laptop, I also want to use the headset with my PlayStation 4 and so I would like to know if I could get a computer monitor that I can plug a headset into like the Logitech G230 or G430 and still be able to use the microphone and ear phones
This is very simple. Get A 2 sided 3.5mm headphone jack and plug one end into the microphone port and the other into the headphone jack.
Purchase a cassette tape that has a headphone jack line on the other end so you can plug that into the headphone jack of your iPod. Go to your local electronics store like Best Buy and pick one up.
The standard size for any ipod or mp3 player is a 1/8 inch line in. 3.5mm
Provided there is an open USB port and a headphone jack.
Any single iPod only has one jack slot, so only one pair of headphones can fit into an iPod at one time.
I dont know figure it out........................haha.....................lol.....................:)
My IPod Nano would quit after a minute playing. My remedy is to make sure your headphone jack is completely plugged in.
