Yes, they will work perfectly in Manual and Aperture-priority modes without the need of an adapter. Make sure you set the focus switch on the body to manual so as not to destroy the AF motor. All those lenses will benefit from Shake Reduction and focus confirmation even if those technologies weren't available during the time those lenses were made.

Yes. Both the K-x (2009) and K-r (2010) cameras use the Pentax KAF2 mount.

Is A3000 Pentax Lens Compatible with a K200D camera?

All Pentax DSLRs are compatible with all K-mount Pentax lenses, which is to say all of them back to the 1970s or thereabouts. I routinely use a f1.2 50mm lens from a K1000 on my K10D. The A3000 had shutter-preferred capability, so your K200D should operate the aperture in the lens. Obviously many features, such as autofocus, will not function since the lens does not have the autofocus motor. Keep in mind that your K200D viewfinder will not show the entire field of view on the shorter lenses, as it is set up to work with a sensor that is 1/3 smaller than a 35mm negative. This isn't really a problem. Telephoto lenses will work just fine.

Will the Pentax AF420z flash gun work on the Pentax K100D super?

We could find no information on the Pentax AF420z flash. However the other AF series flashes work when mounted on a Pentax Auto-focus SLR (after the Z-10 and including Digital models) equipped with an FA-, FA J-, DFA- or DA- series lens. Our primary camera is a K10D with the AF540FGZ flash to supplement the built-in flash. It is an excellent unit, as is the smaller AF360FGZ. Of the two, for general use I would choose the 360 because its lighter weight would put less strain on the hot-shoe mount and it adds less to the weight of an already hefty camera.

Pentax Can in interchangeable lenz for K1000 be used to the new Digital Pentax?

Yes, perfectly without problems. Metering will work so there is no guesswork needed while in manual mode. The best part is, even if you have a manual focus lens, it will be supported by Shake Reduction and focus confirmation.

Can a minolta slr lens be used with a Nikon or canon digital slr?

Yes. The Pentax SLR lens K-mount will fit the Pentax Digital SLR [DSLR] and the Samsung DSLR. Two warnings: (1) you will lose the electronic linkages for some of the automatic functions; (2) the effective focal length of the lens will change. Most current DSLRs have an image sensor that is only about 2/3 the size of a 35mm film frame. Consequently, DSLRs will multiply the focal length of a traditional SLR lens by approximately 1.5: a 50mm SLR lens put on a DSLR will produce an image close to that of a 75mm lens; a 200mm telephoto lens will function as a 300mm lens. At the lower end of the focal lengths, a wide angle SLR lens, such as a 24mm, if attached to a DSLR, would lose its extreme wide angle advantage and function as a 36mm lens. In brief, long lenses will reach further out, but wide angle lenses will lose part of their ability to capture a full scene. Kodak and Canon have announced "full frame" DSLRs: digital cameras that have a sensor the same size as a standard 35mm frame. On such cameras, the SLR lens will retain its effective focal length regardless of whether it's used on an SLR or a DSLR. Neither Pentax nor Samsung has announced such plans for K-mount owners. In any event, the new full-frame Kodak and Canon full-frame DSLRs may be out of an amateur's reach, for they have an announced price of about $8000.

What type of camera does david lachapelle use?

I believe he uses a Pentax for studio work but i am not sure of the model...that's all I got. when he shot film, he was shooting a Pentax 645n or an nii, nowadays i think he's pretty much only doing stuff that he wants to (a lot of gallery work) and uses digital Hasselblads, with I'm sure, the highest resolution backs. along a bajillion studio lights, ringlights and beauty dishes and whatnot

Why can't I get my Pentax Digital Camera EI-200 power switch to work?

Try a fresh new set of disposable alkaline or lithium batteries. If you can't your EI-200 to work with those, the camera is gone.

Digital lens with a Canon AE?

It would depend on the type of lens mount. Generally speaking, it would probably not work too well. The AE uses full-aperture TTL metering, and its mechanism for manipulating the diaphragm of the lens is not likely to work with the "digital" lens, although that is not a sure thing. Try to gently mate the lens and body. If the lens will mount, shoot a roll of film and see how it goes.

What sort of camera did helmet Newton use?

Helmut Newton used the Rolleiflex twin-lens reflex (tlr), a 2 1/4 square medium format camera, for much of his professional work, although he reportedly did some work with a Hasselblad and the Pentax 35 mm. Newton claimed his favorite camera was the Olympus Stylus Epic, an inexpensive little point-and-shoot that is still being manufactured. To view both the Rolleiflex and a Stylus Epic, see Related Links, below.

Will the tokina lens mount on a Nikon d300?

It will mount fine, and the matrix metering will work. However, you'll only be able to manually focus. The D5000 does not have a focusing motor in the body, and the tokina lens has no internal motor of its own. If you don't mind manually focusing, it's not a problem, but not having AF might suck for sports, concerts, and things that move.

Will a Nikon ED lens fit on a Nikon digital camera?

ED has nothing to do with the camera mount; it is a lens (glass) quality so yes, it will fit

Can lens of slr camera work in a dslr camera?

If you are transferring it onto a camera with the same mount then yes. But be aware AUTO FOCUS MAY NOT WORK CORRECTLY. The aperture of the lens may not be as good either. But overall you should be OK. Good Luck
