Not with out an adapter.
Will the transmission from a 1985 Chevy Celebrity fit a 1991 Buick LeSabre
Chevy and Buick shared the same block-to-trans bolt pattern back then.
No, the tranny has to be out of a olds, Pontiac, or Buick to bolt up to a Pontiac engine.
yes and no yes in that it can be made to fit no in that a Chevy transmission has a different bolt pattern than Oldsmobile's, Buick's, and Pontiac's. the motor mounts are also probably going to be different. However you can change the motor mounts and there are companies that make adapters to use a Chevy transmission with a Oldsmobile, Buick, or Pontiac engine. I have seen an adapter to use a ford transmission with a Chevy engine.
only a Buick, olds or Pontiac engine will bolt to a Pontiac tranny as Chevy blocks have a different bolt pattern.
Need to know which engine and which transmission.
yes if the engine and trans. are both Chevy or Buick or Oldsmobile Buick/Oldsmobile and Pontiac will inter change but Chevy has to go with Chevy
No. Only Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac and Pontiac interchange. Chevy has it's own pattern unless it is a dual pattern transmission. There are adapters available if you choose to go that route.
sure, as long as it's a Chevy turbo 400 and not a Buick, Pontiac or olds 400 it will bolt right up.
What about it? Chevy will interchange regardless of the years. Wiring and plumbing is going to vary but it will bolt to the transmission. Buick, Olds, Pontiac will interchange with each other with the same issues. They will not bolt up to a chevy transmission unless you have a duel pattern transmission that has both bolt patterns on it.
No it will not. A Buick and a Chevy engine is not even close to being the same. Inpossible. SORRY
The 99 Buick Century 231 engine will fit into a 96 Chevy lumina with a little fabrication.
