It will if you change these parts. You will need a stall converter and you will also HAVE TO CHANGE the valve springs to stop valve spring coil bind. You will also have to have push rod guide plates installed on the heads. GOOD LUCK.
The 86 2.8L automatic transmission will not bolt up to a 71 Chevy engine.
As long as The Engine is The same that the trasmission was on before then yes it will work.
Dextron 2 or 3 will work
Yes you can if you have all the parts to make it work from another truck.
Any 4L60E transmission, 1993 and up. The mechanical 4L60 and 700R4 from 1992 and earlier will not work.
if its an automatic then its absolutely necessary because automatics work using hydraulics.
The ECU for an automatic can be used in a manual transmission. However, it will not work vice-versa with the ECU from a manual transmission in an automatic.
Yes it will fit right in there and hook right up.
if it is automatic then no because in 1996 Chevy swiched to the (e) electronic trans and would need a different computer system to work.
700R4 from 1986 to 1992 should work
God
Yes, but the ECM of the 95 would have to be reflashed to remove the interface with the (electronically controlled) automatic transmission.
