If you had to catch your boyfriend cheating then he either may not care or he feels guilty and you will just have to wait to see if he loves you enough; is a man and wants to make your relationship work. If he does not phone in the next two weeks consider yourself lucky you found out what type of person he is; do not sit around and mope over such a person you cannot trust and start getting out with friends and back into dating again as there is someone special out there for you.
