Yes, but with some limitations.
The Canon 480EG was designed as a TTL flash (through the lens metering) but also has an External Auto metering Mode.
It can be used with any camera that has a PC sync connection. Don't use the "Shoe Cord E" that comes with the flash unless you are using a Film Camera with TTL flash metering.
It can be used with Digital cameras provided you use a PC sync cord to connect the flash to the camera. Use the camera in manual mode and match the settings that you want to use with the flash.
Yes, it should work just fine, and is an excellent choice. It's almost as powerful as the 430ex, and noticeably lighter.
yes all canon speed lights will work with rebels and all canon products
Yes!
Seems as if the Speedlite 420ex can't keep up with the speed of the 50d. Many missed flashes.
Any Speedlite!
There are quite a few different models of the Canon Speedlite Flash camera. Reviews for each of the different models can be found on Amazon. These reviews are written by members of the public who have used these cameras. Further reviews and ratings can be found on the Digital Camera School website.
A recommended flash for the Canon T3i is the Canon 430EX II. This flash is about $270. However, honestly, any Canon flash will work well with the camera.
There are many different online websites that sell affordable Canon 430ex Speedlite Flash. Some of these websites include Amazon, eBay, B & H Photo Video, and on the Canon website.
It's not a good idea to use a flash unit designed for a film camera with a DSLR because the camera hotshoe or cable link could damage the electronics of your Canon 350D. You would be better off using Canon's own Speedlite 430EX or the Sony F32X, although the latter has a notoriously slow recycling speed. Both flashguns were designed for use on DSLRs.
Any standard hot-shoe flash should fit the XSi, though check the flash sync voltage to be on the safe side. Using a Canon EX-series Speedlite will give you a variety of additional features; other flashes won't be able to synchronise at shutter speeds faster than 1/200th sec, and won't work in live view mode, either, for example.
The 430EX external flash seems like it would be the best candidate for the external flash for the Canon digital camera.
The Canon Speedlite 580EX II ( EX2 )
Canon is a large global camera and technology company that sells the Powershot a630 digital camera. The main features of this camera are auto flash and x4 optical zoom.
Actually no they won't. I don't konw alot about canon cameras. but one thing I do know is that it prabably won't work. Just get a Canon flash or a Sigma flash.
Someone looking to purchase a flash gun for a canon could find one at any camera and electronic shops. Best Buys, Walmart, target and Sears are all good retail stores to check for a flash gun for a canon.
