Will a skunk spray if you shoot it in the head?

Answer:

If you shoot a skunk in the head, it may still spray. Although a skunk has the ability to control when is sprays, it is also a reflex response. If shot in the head, the result may be the skunk still twitching (If you hunt, you'll know what I mean). If you have to dispatch a skunk, the best location is a shot high on it's spine column. If the spine is severed, the skunk should not be able to spray, neurologically speaking.
