Baked potatoes that have been left at room temperature have been known to grow Clostridium botulinum which forms a deadly toxin and can make people sick. The potato might not spoil in the traditional sense (mold, slime, funky odor), but it could be dangerous. To prevent the possibility of botulism intoxication, either refrigerate (below 40°F) baked potatoes or keep them warm (above 140°F).
Actually potatoes that are left out overnight are perfectly fine to eat. as long as they do not have much milk or butter on them. even if they have butter they will be fine to eat. plain cooked potatoes, such as baked can stay out for up to 3 days.
We think that because food was out overnight that we are going to get sick from it. this is a common misconception with our society.
I leave food out all the time and its fine. like eggs, eggs can stay unrefrigerated for more than a week and there is nothing wrong with them.
Processed vegetables should be treated as any other potentially hazardous food and should not be left unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours. Less time is better.
Most any food will eventually spoil. Raw whole potatoes generally keep best in a cool, dark, well-ventilated spot. Leftover cooked potatoes should be refrigerated.
no dont eat because u dont know what kind of bugs touch it and its very cold by now
Yes, nothing will happen to them if you leave them. :) glad i could help
Yes, provided they have been covered to prevent contamination by flies, insects and vermin, they will be fine to eat or use the next day.
It may be unsafe to eat a cooked potato that's been left out overnight.
If dough is left overnight before it is baked some fermentation will begin to take place. This will give the bread a stronger, more yeasty taste than normal.
Eggs cannot be left on the counter overnight. They grow bacteria fairly quickly, so there is a chance of salmonella poisoning.
No,i just did the same thing and looked it up.every one said no cause its hazardous.sorry
If the corn dogs were left out on the kitchen counter overnight, most likely the meat would contain harmful bacteria and they should be tossed out. If they were left overnight to defrost in the refrigerator, they would still be safe to eat.
No. Someone will eat it. Just kidding, to let it cool yes 45 minutes to an hour is okay on the counter. Overnight refrigerate. I make pumpkin pie :)
Generally, yes, although that might depend on what kind of cake it was.
There's no way to tell without knowing how long it has been sitting unrefrigerated.
If they have been fully cooked all the way through, and do not contain moist fruit, then maybe they could be left out and still be safe - like baked bread - but it is probably better to refrigerate them.
No. Leaving potentially hazardous food out at room temperature overnight is not safe.
no
They may be unsafe to eat if left out overnight and should be thrown out.
does squash spoil if left overnight or two days
