No they will not. Activision will own it and I believe they also own Infinity Ward. When we say Call of Duty Modern Warfare is done by Infinity Ward that does not mean that they make all the games versions. Others companies also help develop the games like the Call of Duty Reflex Edition developed by Treyarch or the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized which was also not developed by Infinity Ward and was created for Activision as is the complete Call of Duty series of games

This is completely subjective and a matter of opinion, however my opinion would be that they're both good quality games. They both have their own advantages, modern warfare 2 has much better perks and more personalisation, however modern warfare 1 has better maps and better guns, overall i'd say only you can answer the question, but my experience would say COD 4

well it's kinda hard to explain because Infinity Ward is no longer making Call Of Duty games and Modern Warfare is it's own franchise now. Call Of Duty 6 would have been Modern Warfare 2 but they branched it off into it's own franchise, so now Treyarch will be making all Call Of Duty Games now and with that said, Call Of Duty 6 will be Call Of Duty: Cold War and will be released most likely November 2010

As I have only played Modern Warfare 2 on the PC I can only answer for that. Modern Warfare 2 does not have the option to have dedicated servers. This means that in each online game one of the players is automatically selected to be the server. This makes it impossible for a map other than one of the original ones to be hosted on a server.

Modern Warfare 3 is so popular because it appeals to a young generation with its violence. For example, if a 13 year old had a bad day, he could take it out on the delta force with a M 14. Plus Modern Warfare 3 is a highly commercialized video game. It even has its own web sight. Overall Modern Warfare 3 is appealing because of online playing mode and new survival mode.
