Yes. Should be. Genes are not passed down and mutated the same as humans. Its most likely that they will be fine. My vet told me that interbred cats can be mentally challenged. I had two kittens show up with a mother one year and I swear, both of the kittens were retarded. One was so afaid of his tail, that it had to be amputated to keep him from attacking it and slinging blood all over the place. The vet tried just bandaging it and breaking the habit but nothing would stop him. He thought something was after him, we guessed. It sounds funny but it really was a serious situation. The other kitten was just so strange acting. She lived a long time, but what a weird cat she was!Not your average cat, for sure.
