The current sequel to the Dark Knight Returns is Dark Knight Strikesback also written by Frank Miller, although it is the actual sequel to the Dark Knight Returns I somewhat doubt if DC or Warner Bros. is willing to turn the title into it's own movie, due to the very poor reception and sales of the comic and the shabby writing in comparison.
If you are willing to read the Dark Knight Strikesback you'll have a sequel, but I don't see a film version arriving any time soon
