Well, it is authentic and original. As a blog, it works. If you wanted to publish it, in my opinion you would have to develop the "moral" a little... we'd need to see how this lesson changed you and helped you instead of just... hmm, is it a good thing or a bad thing? Not sure yet. ... I think that the core question is a great one: is it worth loving someone even with the risk of heartbreak? ... but have you really answered the question? You say that your heart has recovered from your former loss... and that is huge... but nothing happened with this guy that you fell for, except that you got hurt again. So... was it worth it to you anyway? I am left uncertain. ... you seem to have a raw knack for writing, which is good, and if you are sticking with Blogs, then it is perfect. :) ... but even the best raw talent needs some direction and specific goals for specific audiences if you are going to appeal to the lay reader. What are you hoping to accomplish with your writing? If it is just self-revelation, then you are already there. You are learning from your writing, and you reveal yourself to others through it. That is great... but if your goals are more than this, then you need to think about your audience and the points that you want to get across to them. What do you want them to think about or feel, or do because of your writing? ...
