If your heart beats too fast it may compromise (or reduce) the effectiveness of your circulation. This may cause dizziness, light-headedness, nausea or unconsciousness. All of these symptoms, when left untreated, may contribute to a fatal episode. Rapid heartbeat (tachycardia), however, may be transitory with a variety of causes (e.g anxiety, exercise, fear and other stimulation). It may also be caused by a malfunction of the heart (most commonly involving the electrical pathway that makes your heart beat) and require medical intervention. Tachycardia, of itself, does not cause a heart attack unless the heart is already damaged, injured or weakened.

No you will not. The heart is a very tough muscle which always tries to correct itself. Many people's hearts miss a beat or have a very irregular pattern. There is medication for these troubles, and there is always the possibility of having a "pacemaker" fitted to the heart, which keeps it beating regularly.

Answer2: I agree with the above as well. Also you could have a non life threatening heart murmur. Best to have a complete physical and see a cardiologist if you need to. They will probably perform and ekg and a cardiac stress test. Be safe, good health to you.

What does exercise have to do with your heart?

It has to do with your heart because when you exercise, your heart beats faster every time and it tells when you're working hard or not. When your heart beats too fast, it means you are working too hard and you might have to take a break. But if your heart isn't beating to fast, then it means you're not working that hard. If your heart is beating not too hard or not too slow, then you would be in good shape. Sometimes when you work too hard, your heart may have some problems and start having some kind of stroke or something.

Can you get a heart attack if you exercise too much because your heart beats fast when you exercise?

I don't think you can unless you have an existing heart condition. When you exercise your heart beats, but it is good for you; as it pumps the blood around your body. If your heart didn't beat fast when you exercised you wouldn't be getting any fitter than you previously were and if trying to, you wouldn't lose any weight.

Why is the pulse beats a vital sign of life. why?

The pulse is the number of times the heart beats every minute. This is extremely important to medical professionals simply because the heart provides oxygen to all tissues throughout the body, without oxygen these tissues begin to die. In 10 minutes of reduced oxygen flow, the brain has impaired level of function. If the heart beats to slow, not enough oxygen is pumped through the system. Too fast and not enough oxygen is captured in the hemoglobin of the blood cells.
