In most cases, if you are being paid by a state fund that businesses pay into, (workman's comp), you can forfeit your benefits and rights to future benefits regarding that claim because of unauthorized and/or illegal drug use.

∙ 16y agoI dont believe they can, I shattered a disc in my back while on the job and needed surgery. I was so jacked up on pain killers and marijuana days later for pain. There is no proof that you were on drugs either legal or illegal at the time of injnury.
