it is possible for heat from combustion to cause an engine to overheat quickly depending on where the gasket is blown, but i would look for a lack of coolant circulation first. if your coolant is not getting out of the motor and into the radiator it will overheat very quickly.
it could possibly have either a blown head gasket or intake manifold gaskets leaking
it means you have a cracked head or blown head gaskets. does the car overheat?
Not if you let him!.. If the heads already blown the car will only overheat but if the engine ceases your liable! too bad!
have you had the head gaskets replaced you might have blown head gaskets or warped heads on the block this is a costly repair check your water for oil or check your oil for water this will help to determin if they are ... have you had the head gaskets replaced you might have blown head gaskets or warped heads on the block this is a costly repair check your water for oil or check your oil for water this will help to determin if they are ...
It's possible. Contamination of the fuel with antifreeze will eventually take its toll on the vehicle, even if it doesn't overheat. Although I'd personally consider other reasons, as well.
I would recommend the old green antifreeze as the new Dex-cool is garbbage, it contributes to blown intake gaskets and head gaskets.
Blown head gaskets cannot be "fixed", they have to be replaced. If you are mechanically inclined and want to try and do it yourself, get a Hayne's or Chilton's repair manual for your vehicle to find everything on how to do it.
As with any car, low coolant will cause this car to overheat. Common areas of coolant lose are the water pump or intake manifold gaskets. If the coolant is full, then another common problem is blown headgaskets- especially the rear head. A blown headgasket introduced compression into the cooling system causing air pocket / bubbles. This will cause an overheat.- TechJK -----------------------------------------------------------
Bad thermostat, plugged radiator, blown head gasket in order of expense.
Blown Head Gasket or Bad Cylinder Head
Yes.
Check the thermostat. Another reason could be the head gaskets are blown.
