First of all, it takes time and good friends. Go out with your friends a lot- they will push your limits and maybe even push you in the direction of a nice girl some day.

Give it time. You are only 16. It is ok to be shy and it is ok to take it slow.

Why don't you go for a shy girl? Take pride in small successes, for instance if you can make her smile. Next time go for making her laugh.

And the ultimate weapon is: Pretend to be 10times more confident as you are. Don't take yourself too seriously because nobody cares anyways. Make one girl at a time your project, don't focus on becoming the most popular kid in school. And the most important thing:Feel good about yourself (first) and get out there!!
