Sounds like most every straight guy in the world. Finding someone to connect with is hard no matter where you are at. You can't appear desperate or needy, that will only drive them away. You have to put yourself in places where you may find someone and make yourself available. You may find some part of what you want on line in chat rooms. Not the same as face to face, but possible better than nothing.

Not suggesting you go Gay, but you can have a deep connection with another guy you know. They get scared off even easier, but it can happen. As I said, I don't think you are any different than all of us, looking for someone to connect with.
