i would say not long at all!!!!!!!!so hurry up and get to the hospital girl.... my water didnt break until i got ther and it was 2hr later my son was born.. are you having contractions?
It could be hours, days or weeks. In my case, I was 36 weeks 6 days, lost the mucous plug and had the baby 5 hours later. But, from what I've read, there is no firm correlation between how dilated you are or losing the plug and the length of time you have left.
There's really no way to tell. You can be slightly dilated for weeks before going into true labor. On the other hand, you might not be dilated at all and then go into labor closer to your due date. It's oddly not a very reliable way of telling when you'll deliver, until you are in active labor.
No - not at all. You will begin to dilate around 36 weeks and you can go 6 weeks without dilating any further. Most women are 1-2 cm dilated for the last weeks of their pregnancy. I really don't know why the doctors tell you this - it just means you worry. If you get to 4cm dilated it probably means you will go into labour soon.
If conditions are good a Molly can deliver young every 12 to 14 weeks. If conditions are bad a Molly can hold on to her unborn fry until she dies.
The question you have typed, does not mean anything really!
WALK
AT 3 cm dilated, you can be placed on bed rest. I was placed on bed rest at 32 weeks and 6 days to prevent me from going into preterm labor.
i have been 1 cm for 3 weeks now! I dont think that how dilated you are really matters unless you are in active labor!
This is normal! However, once you become 7 cm dilated is time to get to the hospital. Even if your water breaks you don't have to go to the hospital until your contractions are 5-7 minutes apart.
Full term is 40 weeks, but some doctors let women deliver after 36 weeks. Approximate time is 42 weeks
She will probably deliver soon. Good luck to her and God Bless:) Once a pregnancy reaches 37 weeks it is considered at term and things are allowed to progress normally. All other things being equal you will probably go into labour in the next few days and the baby should deliver normally and be healthy.
40 weeks.
